November 8th



SECOND GRADE:
"Let my people go" Pharoah refused to let the Jewish people go, even after such terrible plagues.

Q: What was the tenth plague?

THIRD GRADE:
Just like firefighters, soldiers and policemen need their uniforms to help them to their job, we have the Jewish uniform to help us do mitzvot. let's wear our Jewish uniforms proudly!!

Q: What part of the Jewish uniform helps us remember that Hashem is above us, and always watching us?



FOURTH GRADE:
We learnt a very important mitzvah called Derech Eretz- being respectful. We must respect our elders and even our own friends and property.


FIFTH GRADE:
Moshe, the greatest superhero of all time. Despite his lisp, he successfully redeemed the Jewish people. His compassion and humility are key traits to being a successful leader. Keep that in mind the next time you need to stand up for your beliefs.

Q: If Adam was the first man, and Abraham the first jew...then what does that make Moshe?

SIXTH GRADE:
It was boy's week this week! We celebrated the brit-circumcision of our baby boy and then discussed the Pidyon Haben- redemption of the firstborn son that takes place 30 days after the baby is born. Ofcourse every Jewish celebration includes food and so did ours.

Q: Who is considered a firstborn son?


SEVENTH GRADE:
Seventh graders all know the blessing to make on foods they eat. We had a delicious Bracha relay race and games show. Now we are all Brachos pro's.

Q:What blessing do we make on bananas?
